It is my favourite time of year. The nights get darker, baggy jumpers are acceptable , and the need to shave your legs is massively reduced (sorry Andy). This week my wish list centres around all of the things that I want to try (or do more of) as we travel through Autumn to deep, dark Winter!
1. Lazy day activities
Those Sunday afternoons, when it’s pouring down and Noah is playing with his trains, I need to be occupied with something other than the TV! My inner (and let’s face it, blatant) geek discovered a range of cool colouring books on Amazon. I love the Doctor Who and Sherlock ones personally!
From home facials to pedicures, I love spending nights at home taking care of myself. I don’t often do it, I tend to neglect looking after me. I find it much more acceptable to spend an hour or two preening during the colder months than I do in the summer.
Or in this case, revisiting an old faithful! It’s all about the hair this season and I’m about to take a walk on the dark side.
This is something that I want to do more with Noah, and I’m going to experiment with lots of gluten free recipes.
Home is where the party is. I plan on having more kitchen discos over the next few months. I’ve got my iPod, disco lights and a cupboard full of fizz. Let’s go!
